Multi-purpose Whimsical magical trinket small jewelry box. Handmade box with crochet and crystal topper. Wedding or anniversary gift box.

Sometimes I just wanna have fun! I call these nest boxes. Some say they remind them of Harry Potter and the sorting hat. This would make a wonderful wedding, anniversary or any other occasion gift.

The box is great for jewelry, trinkets or whatever else fits in it. Small so not a lot. A single necklace on a chain, a ring, earrings, cuff links.

The box itself I made from mache and paper clays. I then hand painted it and sealed it with a heavy lacquer. Inside is a hand felted piece of fabric. It has lots of dimension in it. (See pics). The stones (one opposite the other) are Swarovski crystals - large ones.

I use a specialty wire to create the form and body of the crochet. This particular lid got into some fun squiggles with the crochet. See the pictures. I like the top on this one sitting on its side too.

These are all one-of-a-kind. I couldn’t remake it if I tried. ;)
